You Are Not Lazy; You Are Uninspired and Here Is How to Fix That

Most people carry a quiet shame:

“I must be lazy.”

“I cannot stay consistent.”

“I do not have enough motivation.”

But let’s kill the lie.

You are not lazy.

You are not broken.

You are uninspired.

And that is not your fault.

It is hard to feel driven when:

  • Your job feels meaningless

  • Your goals feel too far away

  • Your time is controlled by someone else

  • You are surrounded by people who have already given up

That is not laziness. That is suffocation.

The solution is not more hustle. It is reigniting your fire.

If you have been stuck, numb, or drifting through the motions, this post is for you.

Minimalist graphic comparing inspiration and laziness, showing a bright orange flame labeled “Inspiration” beside a dim gray lightbulb labeled “Laziness,” symbolizing the contrast between purpose-driven energy and lack of motivatio
Inspiration burns bright when meaning fuels it, while laziness fades when purpose returns.
  1. You Are Not the Problem Your Environment Is

Most people live inside a loop designed to keep them stagnant.

You go to work.

You scroll through distractions.

You come home tired.

You repeat.

Creativity dies slowly. Curiosity fades. Vision shrinks.

No wonder you feel stuck.

It is not because you are lazy. It is because your environment is not asking anything exciting from you anymore.

But here is the twist: you can build the environment that inspires you.

  • You do not need permission

  • You do not need a new job tomorrow

  • You just need a mission strong enough to rewire your routine

Illustration titled “Environment Shapes Energy” showing two contrasting rooms side by side. One is cluttered with messy papers and disorganized shelves symbolizing chaos and fatigue. The other is clean, minimalist, and bright symbolizing focus, clarity, and productivity.
Your environment either drains your energy or directs it. Create spaces that breathe focus and clarity into your life.
  1. You Do Not Need Motivation You Need Meaning

Motivation fades. Deadlines pass. Energy dips.

But meaning sticks.

When you are building something that matters, you do not need hype. You do not need tricks. You just move because it is yours.

That is what happened when I started BakoInvest.

I went from exhausted and reactive to focused and energized even after long bus driving shifts.

Why? Because I found a strategy worth showing up for:

  • 50 dollars a day into Strategy (formerly MicroStrategy)

  • Documenting the journey publicly

  • Helping others escape the paycheck trap

Suddenly, I had something bigger than a paycheck to wake up for.

Illustration titled “First Brick Effect” showing a single brick at the base of a tall wall with an upward arrow symbolizing growth and progress, representing how small consistent actions build massive results over time.
Every wall starts with one brick. The first step always looks small until you see how high it can take you.

3. You Do Not Need to Go Viral You Need to Get Started

Inspiration does not arrive by waiting for the perfect moment. It comes from movement.

  • Write your first blog post

  • Record your first video

  • Invest your first 10 dollars

  • Build your first landing page

  • Share your story with one person

You do not need a brand. You do not need a niche. You just need to build something real even if no one is watching.

And the wild part? Once you start, the fog lifts. Energy comes back. And you remember who you are.

Illustration titled “Discipline Powered by Purpose” showing four interlocking gears turning together on a clean background, symbolizing how purpose fuels discipline and keeps consistent action moving forward with balance and flow.
Discipline runs smoothly when purpose is the engine behind it. Without purpose, the gears grind to a halt.
  1. Discipline Without Purpose Feels Like Punishment

This is why so many people fail discipline.

They try forcing themselves to do things they hate inside lives they do not believe in chasing outcomes they do not even want.

That is not discipline. That is self inflicted burnout.

Real discipline starts with purpose.

That is why my 50 dollars a day investing system works. Not because it is easy but because I believe in it.

  • I believe in Bitcoin’s long term upside

  • I believe Strategy is the best Bitcoin proxy

  • I believe in conviction over constant diversification

  • I believe in showing up even when it is boring

Belief turns repetition into freedom.

Illustration titled “Personal Targets” showing an arrow hitting the bullseye of a target, symbolizing personalized goals and the power of focusing on what truly matters to you rather than following someone else’s path.
Your goals do not have to look like anyone else’s. The right target is the one that feels like you.
  1. You Need a Target That Feels Like You

You are not lazy. You are tired of goals that do not excite you.

Stop chasing someone else’s targets like:

  • Get to 10K a month in 3 months

  • Quit my job by next year

  • Launch three hustles at once

Maybe your real path looks like:

  • One investment per day

  • One blog post per week

  • One hour of deep work every night

  • One message that lives forever online

That is how I am playing this game. Not to impress anyone but to build something I believe in.

Illustration titled “Consistency Curve” showing a rising red curve over gray bars on a graph, symbolizing how small consistent actions compound into steep long-term growth and lasting success.
Small steps feel slow until they don’t. Consistency turns quiet effort into exponential growth.

What to Do If You Feel Numb Right Now

Here is the starter plan:

  1. Shrink the window. Do not solve your whole life. Solve the next hour.

  2. Pick one daily move. Mine is 50 dollars into Strategy. Yours could be 10 dollars or writing 200 words.

👉 Start small with Acorns - it invests your spare change automatically, starting with just 5 dollars. Proof of progress without overthinking.

  3. Log progress. Journal privately or share publicly. Evidence builds belief.

👉 Use Webull to track your progress - plus new accounts can unlock up to 12 free stocks.

  4. Limit noise. The more you consume the less you create.

  5. Treat consistency like oxygen. Even small moves compound into freedom.

👉 Want a beginner friendly way to start ownership?

  • Robinhood - simple setup and you get a free stock when you open an account

  • Webull - multiple free stocks to start, plus great tracking

  • Acorns - invest spare change with 5 dollars

  • Coinbase - get 25 dollars in Bitcoin for stacking your first crypto

  • Crypto.com - invest in both stocks and crypto in eligible countries, plus get 30 dollars in Bitcoin as a welcome bonus

Illustration titled “Mission Over Motivation” showing a bright red flag planted on the peak of a gray mountain, symbolizing purpose, perseverance, and long-term commitment that outlasts temporary motivation.
Motivation fades when things get hard. A mission keeps you climbing no matter how high the mountain gets.

You Do Not Need More Motivation You Need a Mission

You do not need another motivational quote.

You do not need another productivity hack.

You do not need another planner.

You need a mission strong enough that excuses fall away.

This is mine:

  • Invest 50 dollars a day for 20 years

  • Hit 1,000 shares of Strategy

  • Document everything in public

  • Help underdogs escape the paycheck trap

What is yours?

You do not need to know it all yet. You just need to be brave enough to start something that makes you feel alive again.
