This Is the Most Important Share of My $MSTR Journey — You Can’t Get to 1,000 Without the First One

On April 30, 2025, I crossed a quiet but powerful milestone: I officially owned 1.0 full share of MicroStrategy ($MSTR).

To most people, that might sound small.
But for me — and maybe for you — this is the moment that separates the dreamers from the doers.
Because you can’t get to 1,000 shares without the first one.
And you can’t build wealth without taking that very first step.
Why This Share Matters More Than the 999 After It
Let’s be honest — most people say they want to invest for the long term.
They talk about financial freedom, early retirement, passive income.
But when it’s time to act, they freeze.
They wait for the perfect entry.
They get scared by red candles.
They doubt their strategy after 3 days.
Me? I picked one stock — $MSTR — and committed to buying $50 worth every single market day for the next 20 years.
I’m not chasing trends.
I’m not flipping for quick gains.
This is documented, focused conviction.
And today, that conviction turned into a tangible result:
One full share. One real piece of MicroStrategy.
Why I’m Betting on MSTR, Not Just Bitcoin
If you’re new here, let me give you some context.
I wrote an in-depth piece explaining my strategy and why I chose to go all-in on this one asset.
The short version?
$MSTR isn’t just a proxy for Bitcoin — it’s Bitcoin with leverage, visionary leadership, and a publicly traded balance sheet.
While Bitcoin ETFs now exist and offer clean exposure to BTC, they don’t give you what MSTR does:
A scarce float
A CEO (Michael Saylor) who has gone all-in on BTC with his company treasury
And the potential for equity-like upside on top of BTC’s performance
I believe the combination of Bitcoin exposure + enterprise software + Saylor’s obsession = the most misunderstood stock of this decade.
Documenting the Journey: My MSTR Case Study

I'm not just stacking quietly behind the scenes.
This is a public case study.
I’m sharing every week, every screenshot, every decision.
You can follow it all right here on BakoInvest.com, where I post weekly recaps and lessons learned.
Check out Week 1 of the challenge here:
Each week, I share:
How much I invested
My running share count
$MSTR price movements
Screenshots from my Robinhood account
Reflections on discipline, strategy, and mindset
This is real skin in the game, not theory.
Why The First Share is the Hardest
I started with $50 a day. That’s not much. It barely moves the needle.
At first, the numbers are slow and boring:
0.02 shares
0.05 shares
0.13 shares
But every market day, I showed up.
Rain or shine. Green or red candles.
No hesitation. Just action.
And now, after just two weeks, I hit that beautiful number:
1.0000 shares.
That’s the unlock.
It’s no longer “fractions.”
It’s no longer theory.
It’s real ownership.
This is the point most people never get to — not because they don’t have the money, but because they lack the conviction, consistency, or patience.
The Power of $50 a Day
Here’s the math.
If I keep investing $50/day on market days, I’ll be investing about:
$1,000/month
~$12,000/year
~$250,000 over 20 years
But with compounding and price appreciation, that $250K could become millions — especially if Bitcoin hits 6 or 7 figures and MSTR rides the wave.
I call this strategy the “one-stock retirement” plan.
It’s risky. It’s radical.
But it’s also real — and I’m documenting every step so you can decide for yourself.
Lessons From My First Full Share
Start before you feel ready.
I was nervous at first. What if this fails? What if I can’t keep up? But I hit “buy” anyway — and now I’m in.
Document everything.
Writing, sharing, screenshotting — it keeps me accountable. And it helps others see that they can do it too.
The first win builds momentum.
One share may not make me rich — but it makes me focused, proud, and consistent.
Don’t underestimate small wins.
Compounding isn’t just for money — it works with discipline too. Every day you show up, you strengthen your identity as an investor.

Final Thoughts
There’s no shortcut to building wealth.
But there is a path — and it starts with just one share.
I don’t know what $MSTR will do next week or next year.
But I do know this: I’ll be buying. Every single market day. For the next 20 years.
Because I believe in what I’m building.
And it all started with this one share.
