The truth about my private portfolio, and why $MSTR is the only one I’m building in front of the world.

My Retirement Plan
My Retirement Plan

Most people are afraid to be misunderstood — I’m not.

I’d rather be clear, bold, and focused than blend in with a financial crowd that doesn’t even know what it believes in.

So let me say this from the jump:

Yes, I have a private, diversified portfolio.

Yes, I own other stocks.

Yes, I make decisions that protect my family’s long-term financial security.

But this blog, this mission, and this brand?

This is about one thing, and one thing only:

Betting publicly on just one stock — MicroStrategy ($MSTR) — with relentless conviction.

Let Me Explain the Difference Between My Private Portfolio and My Public Movement

In private, I’ve bought and still hold positions in companies like Amazon, Nvidia, Meta, and a few others.

I’ve done LEAPs. I’ve flipped options. I’ve taken wins and losses. And I’ve built backup streams of safety. Why?

Because I’m a son, a brother, an uncle. A husband. A realist.

I believe in risk — but I also believe in protecting what I’ve worked for.

But none of that is what I’m documenting. None of that is what I want to be remembered for.

I created Bakoinvest.com, this blog and this whole 20-year mission to do something different:

To prove to the world that you don’t need 30 stocks, 10 ETFs, or a bunch of diversifications you don’t even understand… to build real wealth.

You just need one conviction. One strategy. One plan you can stick to.

And for me — that’s $MSTR.

The Problem with Diversification: It Kills Focus and Conviction

Let’s be real.

Most people “diversify” because they’re scared.

They don’t actually know what they believe in — so they buy a little of everything and hope it balances out.

They own 30 tickers, couldn’t explain half of them, and sleepwalk into mediocrity thinking they’re being “safe.”

But here’s the truth:

Diversification is protection against ignorance.

Conviction is what builds wealth.

Ask the greats:

  • Warren Buffett bet big on Coca-Cola and Apple.

  • Michael Saylor bet everything on Bitcoin.

  • Elon Musk put it all on Tesla and SpaceX.

They didn’t spread their bets to feel safe — they went all in where they understood the upside. That’s exactly what I’m doing here with $MSTR.

Why I Chose $MSTR as My Public Life Case Study

MicroStrategy isn’t just a software company.

It’s a Bitcoin vault with a public ticker.

It’s a leveraged, high-conviction bet on digital scarcity and the collapse of fiat inflation.

It’s what happens when a CEO with vision (Michael Saylor) puts his company on the line to ride the biggest monetary shift in human history.

Buying $MSTR gives me:

  • Exposure to Bitcoin’s upside

  • Leverage through public markets

  • Access through traditional brokerage accounts

  • A single asset to build my retirement on

I don’t need a portfolio of 40 companies.

I need one play I understand better than anyone else — and the discipline to stack it for 20 years.

Why I’m Documenting the Journey Publicly — Even If It’s Not My Only Investment

The public journey is the experiment.

It’s the blueprint.

It’s the case study I want people to study long after I’m gone.

Because while the world flips and panics and speculates and trades, I want to be the one who said:

“Let me show you what happens when you put $50 a day into one high-conviction asset… every single market day… for 20 years straight.”

That’s why I post weekly updates.

That’s why I’m building this like a documentary, not a highlight reel.

This is what real, public discipline looks like.

And if it works the way I believe it will, I’ll have built generational wealth with transparency, consistency, and grit.

So Why Not Show My Other Stocks?

Simple:

Because this blog and brand are not about my private safety net — they’re about my public philosophy.

I’m not here to impress you with my “diversification.”

I’m here to show the world what it looks like to go all in on one big idea — and never flinch.

That idea is $MSTR.

That strategy is DCA.

That commitment is non-negotiable.

My private portfolio is for my family’s defense.

My public journey is for your inspiration.

Here’s What You Can Expect from Me — And What You Can’t

What I promise:

  • Weekly updates on my $MSTR journey

  • Total transparency on what I buy, when I buy, and how I feel

  • The mindset, strategy, and structure behind this long-term play

  • A public record of a man betting on himself, in real time

What I won’t do:

  • Pretend to be “all in” when I’m not

  • Hide my safety net

  • Dilute my message to make everyone feel comfortable

I’m not here for comfort.

I’m here for conviction.

What This Means for You (The Reader)

I know some of you reading this are:

  • Just starting

  • Nervous about picking one stock

  • Worried you don’t have enough

  • Or stuck in a portfolio that doesn’t excite you

Here’s what I want you to take from this:

You don’t need to copy me.

But you need to believe in something.

If it’s $MSTR, great.

If it’s another company, that’s fine too.

But stop spreading yourself thin across assets you don’t even research.

Find one thing you believe in — and go deep.

That’s how you escape.

Legacy Over Likes

I’m not building this blog for views.

I’m not writing these posts to go viral.

I’m building a legacy — a 20-year case study in what happens when one man bets on one company with one clear mission.

And along the way, I’ll teach.

I’ll share.

I’ll expose every up and down.

I’ll inspire anyone willing to bet on themselves instead of playing it safe.

Final Thoughts:

Yes, I have a private portfolio.

Yes, I’ll always protect my family first.

But what I’m building here — this blog, this tracker, this public journey — this is my way out.

And maybe, just maybe…

It’ll become yours too.
