This post is part of my ongoing 20 year $50 a day investing series in Strategy (MSTR).

Each week I document the streak, the share growth, the portfolio value, and the discipline behind the system.

The Compounding Is Quiet but Real

There’s nothing flashy about this update. No major dip. No massive rally. No viral headline.

But that’s what makes it powerful.

Because most people only pay attention to their investments when the market is loud.

The real compounding? It happens in silence.

This week, I hit 26.7 shares of Strategy. That’s more than 26 bricks laid, one $50 block at a time.

At this stage, the noise doesn’t matter. The consistency does.

And that’s the part people miss.

The Mental Game Is the Real Challenge

I still get comments like:

“Why would you pick MSTR for 20 years?”

“Bitcoin is too risky.”

“You’re down 20%, why not stop?”

They don’t understand what this is about.

I’m betting on more than Bitcoin.

I’m betting on time…

On discipline…

And on proving to myself that I can stick with something long enough to watch it grow.

That’s what this journey is about.

Not a stock pick.

A self-promise.

BakoBar: Week 27 Asset Comparison

Here’s how Strategy performed compared to major assets this week:

Asset Weekly Return

Strategy (MSTR) +2.07%

Bitcoin (BTC) +3.60%

QQQ +3.57%

SPY +3.09%

Gold (PAXG) -3.04%

BakoBar Week 27: MSTR lagged behind BTC and QQQ, but the discipline didn’t flinch.

Gold fell. Tech bounced. Bitcoin gained.

But all that matters to me is one thing: Did I buy?

Yes. Automatically. Without emotion.

Share Growth Since Week 1

This week’s total: 26.708005 shares

Week 1? 0.73

Every share is a receipt.

A timestamp of discipline.

From 0.7 to 26.7 shares in 27 weeks. Built one $50 receipt at a time.

That’s the kind of compounding I trust, not just in dollars, but in behavior.

Portfolio Value Over Time

The value moves every week. But the direction is what matters most.

  • Week 1: $268

  • Week 10: $3,981

  • Week 20: $6,217

  • Week 27: $7,742.12

This data doesn’t scream.

It builds. Quietly. Unshakably.

Why I Keep Going (Even When It’s Down)

The hardest part so far?

Watching this portfolio stay red for more than 6 months straight.

But I kept showing up. I kept buying. Because I knew the shares were getting cheaper.

And I remember why I started.

Back in 2018, I searched everywhere for someone who was publicly showing their investing journey, every up and down, every buy, and every dip.

I couldn’t find anyone.

So I became the one.

This is my way of showing underdogs and 9 to 5 workers that you don’t need to be rich to build wealth.

You need:

  • A phone

  • A WiFi connection

  • A brokerage account

  • And at least $1 to start

I use $50 a day, but this system can be adapted to any level.

What matters is that it runs on discipline, not emotion.

The Platform I Use Daily

If you’re wondering how I automate this every day without checking prices or second-guessing…

I use Robinhood for my $50 daily buys into Strategy.

It’s fast. Simple. And perfect for a behavior-based system.

(This is the platform I use for full automation)

Final Note

No matter what the market does this week, I’ll be back here next Saturday.

Same time. Same buy. Same mission.

Because this journey is about:

  • Conviction over convenience

  • Behavior over performance

  • Ownership over emotion

This journey is for the underdogs and 9 to 5 workers who are told wealth is out of reach.

It is not about timing the market. It is about proving that discipline beats emotion.

Every $50 buy is a receipt of ownership, a brick in the foundation of long-term wealth.
