The Journey So Far

This post is part of my ongoing 20 year $50 a day investing series in Strategy (MSTR).

Each week I document the streak, the share growth, the portfolio value, and the discipline behind the system.

Six Months In Calm Confidence Not Excitement

Half a year in. 250 business days of buying. Twenty-five shares locked.

I thought hitting 25 shares would feel like fireworks.

It didn’t.

It felt calm, almost quiet.

That’s the difference between excitement and conviction.

Excitement fades. Conviction compounds.

On October 14, I sat in my living room watching Shameless when the app confirmed it, 25 shares.

No celebration. No spike of adrenaline. Just relief and validation that the system works.

Six months in, 25 shares strong. The price fell, but the system never did.

The Journey from 10 to 25 Shares Was a Mental Battle

Between share 10 and 25 came some of the hardest psychological weeks of this challenge.

Red weeks. Sharp drops. Moments when discipline had to override emotion.

But somewhere along the way, buying stopped being a decision and became a reflex.

Automation turned discipline into muscle memory.

Now, even when prices drop hard, I don’t flinch.

My $50 buy executes automatically, proof that consistency outperforms emotion.

What 25 Shares Really Mean

These aren’t just 25 shares.

They are 25 acts of trust in the future.

25 days turned into weeks turned into months of doing the right thing when no one was watching.

I have never held an investment this long in my life.

That alone is a milestone.

This moment isn’t about money. It’s about identity.

It’s proof that I have become the type of person who can stay consistent even when nothing feels exciting.

The Lesson from the Six-Month Mark

Wealth isn’t a sprint of emotion. It is a marathon of boredom.

And boredom is good because it means the system is working.

I check the portfolio once a day only to confirm the auto buy executed.

No thrill, no panic, no scrolling for confirmation.

That is freedom.

The Next Psychological Checkpoint

From 25 to 50 shares is a 100 percent jump, and I am not rushing it.

Momentum is already built into the habit.

Every $50 buy is a receipt of ownership.

Each one moves me closer to freedom.

This journey taught me that wealth isn’t about numbers. It’s about who you become in the process.

Proof That Consistency Beats Complexity

Even after six months of seeing the portfolio bleed red, I learned that the market is a mind game, not a math test.

When the price drops, the system keeps buying.

When emotion rises, automation keeps me calm.

Discipline and identity beat ego and timing.

Every dip today is profit tomorrow because I am collecting cheap inventory for the next bull cycles.

For New Readers Start Where I Did

Don’t wait for the perfect moment. It doesn’t exist.

Start small. Automate it. Let time and conviction do the work.

Every click is a contract with your future self.

Final Reflection

This week didn’t bring excitement. It brought validation.

It proved that wealth is a behavior before it’s a balance.

The first 25 shares showed me that I can build through chaos, stay calm through noise, and trust a system I designed to outlast me.

Six months down, 19.5 years to go.

But the foundation is set, and that’s what matters.
